Music Class Recital

Last night we had the opportunity to show off what we've learned at MusikGarten.  We sang songs, played instruments and participated in some of our favorite activities.  We invited our parents, grandparents and friends, including Murry.  He had a lot of fun and even participated in some of the songs!  There were several memorable moments of the evening including Emron crawling into the middle of the circle while we were singing, sitting there, and giving out lots of smiles all the while eating up the attention.  He also decided to grab the xylophone while one of the older girls played (where were his parents!), and wiggled like a worm during the worm song!  It was a great night with fun friends.  We enjoyed showing off!  I hope you enjoy the pictures below!

Sounds like lots of fun! I didn't realize this class was such a big deal... that didn't sound right. I didn't realize it was so professionally done with a recital and everything. Wow! Emron will be so ahead musically, that's exciting news, it will make him smarter.

Thank you Aspen Angel, for your delightful posting on the musical progress of my delightful grandson.

His crawling to the center of the circle, smiling, eating up the attention ... well, that proves that he's a chip off the ol' block ... YOU!

YOU were a born performer. From your very first dance recital, that was apparent. A whole stage full of little girls, all looking a bit hesitant, or a bit embarrassed, except for one little girl with a big grin on her face that seemed to say: "Finally, an audience."

Yep, that little girl was you, and believe me, after the recital many other parents noted how you stood out on stage.

I see a band in the making: Emron on drums, Laurel can play bass, I'll do rhythm/lead guitar, Mom on keyboard ... and I guess that leaves you to be the up-front singer.

Start practicing ... daily.

Love ya all,

Dad
