It's been too long since my last post, life has been crazy. Between family visits, a trip to Colorado and our entire household being sick we've been busy. Most importantly (I am not going to bore you will mucus details), Laurel, my sister, visited the U.S. for the month of September and during her visit Emron and I flew out to Colorado to see her and my mom, Alan, and dad. It was a good visit. I was happy to see everyone, especially Laurel who hadn't seen Emron except for when he was first born (she lives in New Zealand). Emron learned how to say auntie before we arrived and I think Laurel was impressed, if not simply amazed by how much he had changed. The weather was nice while we were there and my mom was able to have her girls home for her birthday (don't worry mom, I won't tell everyone how old you are!). The food was good as always, though Emron didn't appreciate the crab dinner, and we enjoyed each other's company.
A few highlights of the trip include:
- Emron splashing in the hot tub naked and then coming inside to play the piano, also naked. Crab quiche.
- Taking Emron to the mountains with my dad and watching the boys (my dad and E) throw rocks down the hillside (this event has triggered a rock throwing fetish, which is cute but not always a good thing...).
- Seeing Emron wade in the irrigation ditch, the water was so cold!
- Seeing Jan, Travis, Kevin and Stacy.
- Watching Lindy lick Emron.
- Watching both of the dogs hover whenever Emron was eating.
- Photo shoot with mom and Laurel!!!
- Talks with my sister.
- Lunch in Cedaredge, and the park afterwards.
- Taking Emron to Jorgenson Park in Gunni, the only park I knew growing up.
- And on and on...
Here are some pictures from our trip:

Emron just loved playing outside, especially with the dogs.

Sis-toes!
We had a good time in Colorado but were glad to come home and see Murry. Emron spent the whole weekend attached to his daddy. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Murry had not only cleaned the house, but also re-finished the rest of the bedroom furniture. He is a very sweet guy.
Anyway, there's a little update for all of you. I hope to post more over the weekend so stay tuned.
Thanks for a great time in Colorado every one. We miss you!
XOXO,
Aspen
