Yesterday, Emron found his old swimming hat and he won't take it off. Here's a little background: Last year I purchased orange swimming trunks and the matching sun hat. Emron wasn't a fan of the hat at the time, he didn't like to wear it, heck, for that matter, he didn't like the trunks too much either. You see, Emron was not a fan of the water at six months old. Now, it's a completely different story. Emron loves the water, especially the ocean. And he loves hats! So yesterday when he found his old swimming hat he immediately insisted on wearing. And wearing it. He wore it to nap in, he wore it to bed. He wore it most of the day. This morning, I heard Emron talking in his crib, he wasn't upset, but clearly he was waking up (I love when they wake up without tears!!!). So, I peaked into his room, and there he was, standing up trying to get his hat on. He kept saying "Ut oh, ut oh." I immediately went to his crib and helped him with his hat. He ate breakfast in his hat, then we lost it while climbing all over the couch, not really lost, mind you, but it was not on his head and out of sight, therefore forgotten. Anyway, this afternoon, before Emron went down for a nap he decided he needed to wear his Mickey Mouse ears. So he did. Not to bed, I wouldn't let him, these are $25 ears after all, but he wore them as we walked to 7-Eleven for a treat. The funny thing is, I am not sure the cashier even noticed! So, here are a few pictures of my little friend with his hats!

Aren't little boys so funny with their obsessions. Owen has this shirt that he LOVED. It's too small for him now. But when he saw it in his closet he immediately demanded we put it on him. Then it took three days to get it off him. He'd sleep in it and everything.
I didn't know Emron was a Thomas fan too. Owen and Adam LOVE Thomas. In fact Owen's third birthday party theme is Thomas the Train.
I hope all is well! Lots of love! By the way I LOVE the pictures from the temple, especially the one with Murry throwing Emron into the air. SO PRECIOUS!
So fun to see these little munchkins grow huh? what a sweet boy!
i miss you already....
