As of late, one of the only ways to keep Emron happy is to be out and about. I don't know if it has to do with him starting to walk or if he is just tired of me, but he's happiest when we are doing something. So, yesterday after nap-time we headed out the door. I didn't quite know where we were going, but Emron was standing at the front door, pounding on it and yelling, so I grabbed my wallet and we were off. The first stop was easy: McDonalds! You can't beat a 42 ounce diet soda for $0.84! Then, where to... How about Old Poway Park! We'd never been there so I decided it was time to go!
When we arrived we discovered the playground was closed for construction. Then we walked across the street to the gazebo/park area. We found train cars! Emron was so excited! We walked around the cars then found two fountains. Then a big rock! Emron scored! He didn't want to come home! I was able to catch some okay shots with my phone and thought you might enjoy them.

Off For a New Adventure.

Blue Eyes.
I also found out the park offers train rides on the weekends. And we're talking real trains, not just some ride for kids. I think we're going to have to check it out! Have a great weekend!
XOXO,
Aspen

Looks like fun. My boys like to be on the go too. It's just hard with both of them by myself. I like to keep them contained to a stroller or cart. But, we have fun anyways.
